Dudley Park Primary School is a Positive Behaviour Support school. We have a focus on teaching students how to interact with their peers and the wider community in a constructive way. Positive Behaviour Support focuses on the development of expected norms of behaviour around a behaviour matrix and school expectations.
Dudley Park Primary School’s behaviour expectations for success are SAFE, FRIENDLY, ACHIEVE and RESPECT. These behaviour expectations were developed in consultation with the students, staff, and wider community. Students are engaged in PBS lessons weekly. The lessons are designed to teach them how to demonstrate the four expected behaviours.
Our Positive Behaviour Support system is closely aligned with our Behaviour Management Policy and guides our planning for whole-school reward initiatives such as Advanced Standing and Attendance Rewards.
