Dudley Park Primary School is a Positive Behaviour Support school with a focus on teaching students how to interact with their peers and the wider community in a constructive way. Positive Behaviour Support focuses on the development of expected norms of behaviour around a behaviour matrix and school expectations.
Our Positive Behaviour Support system is tied directly to our Behaviour Management Policy and informs our planning around whole school reward systems such as Good Standing, Advanced Standing, Attendance Rewards, and Whole School Prize Draws.
Dudley Park Primary School’s behaviour expectations for success are SAFE, FRIENDLY, ACHIEVE and RESPECT. These behaviour expectations were developed in consultation with the students, staff, and wider community stake holders. Students take part in lessons designed to teach them how to demonstrate these four behaviour expectations in their school life.
Our wellbeing approach is supported by the inclusion of a School Psychologist and School Chaplain working on site on selected days. Both of these members work with our staff to ensure support is given to both students and their families. Please see below the Chaplain Service Referral form.
